Summary:

Virtual Reality (VR) is at a tipping point. Facebook is pushing the boundaries with the Oculus Rift, and Google is bringing VR to the masses with a $15 headset that can be used with a mobile phone. In this presentation we’ll look at the different types of content, and explore how to leverage VR to augment students’ experiences in the classroom.

In this presentation we’ll talk about how you can use connected hardware to monitor temperature, use server side code to track data over time and build a simple web interface to control a window AC unit from anywhere.
